Goblin Shaman: A larger, spellcasting goblin. Even weaker and frailer than a typical goblin, but their spells are on par with an average human mage's, making them a threat to an unprepared adventurer. They are also slightly more intelligent, capable of setting traps, though they lack the capacity for speech. Ocasionally the leaders of smaller goblin dens.
Hobgoblin: A much larger, stronger goblin, with a more blueish skintone. Hobgoblins are usually the leaders of smaller goblin dens. Standing at about six to seven feet and with brute strength able to surpass even a trained human warrior, they're a force to be reckoned with. However, they lack even the simplistic cunning of an average goblin, and can easily be tricked or fooled. In addition, their large frame makes them quite sluggish.
Goblin Champion: A reddish goblin standing at about seven to eight feet. While slightly larger than a hobgoblin, their frame is more streamlined, making them more agile and skilled. They also display more intelligence. They are usually the leaders of mid-sized goblin dens.
Troll: Not technically a goblin, but a distant cousin of the species. A massive creature standing at minimum 12 feet and upwards of 20 feet, trolls never stop growing for their entire lifespans. As such, older trolls are more threatening. Due to this constant growth, they also regenerate extremely quick from wounds, often in a manner of minutes, unless an instantly fatal blow is struck. Typically the leaders of larger goblin dens.
Goblin Lord: Hulking purplish goblins standing at eight to nine feet. The only goblins capable of human speech. Their strength is on par with extremely skilled adventurers, and they often develop techniques based on observation of humans. They also often learn basic magic from their goblin shaman brethren. Capable of scheming and planning, these goblins are rare, but gather multiple dens to them and launch assaults on human cities, displaying strategy on par with human generals while also being a threat when fought on their own.
